How to explore Cancún in Mexico with $100

cancun bannerCancún is a tourist destination in Mexico, on the Yucatan Peninsula bordering the Caribbean Sea. The city is known for its beaches, resorts, and nightlife and is divided into two areas – the traditional city center (El Centro) and the Zona Hotelera which is a long beach strip with large hotels, nightclubs, shops, and restaurants.

The best time to visit the city is during the spring season, and you can explore the sightseeing either free or at an affordable cost.

El Rey Archaeological Zone (El Rey Ruins) – the first ruins explored in Cancún including temples and a marketplace. Don’t be scared if you see iguanas in the area.

Maya Museum – here, you will discover the world of Mayas. The museum features artifacts and treasures of Mayas.

Planetarium of Cancún Ka´Yok´ – do you want to see the universe? Here, you can!

Las Palapas Park – located near the Municipal Palace. The park hosts many performers from mimes to dancers.
