Fig Tree Bay, Protaras
This beach is probably one of the most popular beaches in Protaras, with thousands of visitors enjoying the green waters and golden sand every year. The beach is organized, which means that you will find beds, umbrellas, water sports, changing rooms, toilets, restaurants, hotels, and kiosks. Access is also available for people with disabilities.
We recommend you spend 2-3 days in Protaras, it is a lovely place. Here’s what you can do.
Konnos Beach (Bay), Protaras – Ayia Napa
You will also find an organized beach, with many visitors during the summer months, with the only difference being the picturesque scenery. It is located between Protaras and Ayia Napa and is accessed either by car to a certain point or by following a path that takes you directly to its sandy beach. This beach also becomes an attraction for yachts.
Makronissos Beach, Ayia Napa
Here, on the one hand, you enjoy the dives in the clear blue quiet waters, and on the other hand, you explore the archaeological site Tombs of Makronisos. In other words, relaxation is combined with exploration. You can also discover the southwest part of the beach, which belongs to the special protected area of the NATURA 2000 Network.
Nissi Beach, Ayia Napa
It is considered the most popular beach in the resort of Ayia Napa. What makes it unique is the small islet located in the western point, which joins the beach through a sandy corridor creating an incredible sight. The beach is preferred mainly by the younger world because of the more “frantic” atmosphere created by famous DJs.
Governor’s Beach, Limassol
The contrast of white rocks and dark sand creates a beautiful environment. The beach is located in Pentakomo village in Limassol (about 10 km east of the main hotel area), and is one of the famous beaches. It is famous for its calm and clear waters, and you can combine it with a walk-in nature. It is also an ideal place for lunch since in the area you will find many fish taverns.
Petra tou Romiou, Paphos
Here, you will find the most mythical beach on the island! The legend says that this is where the Goddess Aphrodite was born, and many tourists visit the place. It is located in Kouklia, in the province of Paphos (between the Limassol – Paphos motorway), and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches. The picturesqueness of the area combined with the blue sea creates a beautiful setting worth visiting. It is not an organized beach, so we recommend it for more private moments.
Coral Bay, Paphos
Coral Bay is a popular tourist resort in Peyia, 11 km north of the city of Paphos. The golden sand and the calm, shallow and clear waters make it a popular choice for families. In the area, there are sea caves that you can explore.
Blue Lagoon, Akamas
In Akamas, Paphos, you will find one of the most beautiful, cleanest, and blue beaches. Access by car is quite difficult but not impossible if you are very careful.
